HX 1:400 N862GT Atlas Air, Kuehne+Nagel logistics livery
Delivered on November 22, 2022, this aircraft is operated by Atlas Air and leased by Kuehne+Nagel. It ranks as the second-to-last Boeing 747 ever produced worldwide.

In my opinion, HX's 747-8F stands out as the best in the industry, boasting excellent shape accuracy and a highly sturdy mold. The paint finish of this batch is equally impressive, with precise colors that exude a brilliant luster, reflecting HX's exceptional quality control for this production run. Personally, what I adore most about this particular model is its detailed printing—crisp, clean, and strikingly clear.

I think HX 748 is out as the best in the industry, which is a bit too much. After all, there are still NG 748. And HX 748 have due to the wing and fuse connection. If HX can improve it, it will be very good.🙂

What do you mean by saying “have due to…connection”? I don’t quite understand that 😂
What I mean is that you might also consider its price, material and quality.
NG is more expensive, however its QC is not satisfying. This is mainly reflected in the paint finish and assembly.

I do think the HX version has a lot to offer but I agree that the wing root leaves a lot to be desired as the root section is very distinct and noticeable on any 747. If that can be fixed it would be equal to the NG version.

In fact, the biggest problem is that the wing root leaves a lot to be desired, as can be seen from the following pictures.

It is undeniable that HX 748 is excellent in terms of price, material and quality, but it does not mean that there is no problem with the wing root.

I think it being one of the ealiest mould from HX, perhaps they didn't modify much from the existing JC tooling

True! But that only happens on-8.
Thanks for the picture provided!

I prefer not to only focusing on the mould😂
I don’t think NG can be better with that QC
Theoretically speaking, NG’s present should be better. But I have met several times with NG’s wings breaking apart from the fuselage…
That’s my personal opinion anyway.
