I agree with your statement. I now got obsessed with getting these little classic gems, which i was fortunate to pick up during the last month.

Models of aircraft you've spotted or flown

Thank you very much for your compliment. It is actually my proudest moment in aviation photography. I have not been into that since then but focus entirely on collecting models.

Here are some models which I acquired at the FMO Modelltag taken place last weekend at the Münster/Osnabruck Airport. I was at the show on Saturday. Starting with a quadruple of GJ's Tridents - clockwise from top right to top left: - British Air Ferries Trident 1E G-AVYD - Kuwait Airways...

    Good old times of Wings900

Yes, I was with another 2 fellas. I have visited your stand. I agree with the statement that i am quite a sophisticated collector since my scope has expanded gradually. I am 3 hours away from FMO actually.

    Good old times of Wings900

Great to see that fellow W900 members are reuniting. I have strated posting there in 1:400 at around 2014s. (It could be the case that i once bought an A320 blank series DW and/or some GSEs from you before and have it sent to Vietnam). By the way, we might have met at the FMO show as I was...

    Model of the Year 2025

I couldn’t agree more on the GA. Panda has their details made so immaculate. But PM was so busy on making retailer exclusives and they are not easy to reach either…. The Pan Am would place high on many’s list. I passed the chance and slightly regret it. Otherwise seeing AV400 brings magnetic...

    Model of the Year 2025

Agreed. I was fighting myself a lot for HX’s crown but the 5th pod is truly on a league of its own. Very interesting choices and I agreed all with your comments. Had I got the Turtle Superjumbo it would be at the same place. I look forward to your top 15 list. Interesting choice and I...

    Model of the Year 2025

As 2025 is coming to an end within a few hours - it is also a good time to look back to the best models released this year. I couldn't join the thread Model of the Year 2024 arranged by @abdulmohiuddin but I will try to makeup by creating the thread this year. Unlike 2023 which the Cathay...

Thank you for your compliment. Right now i can see that HX has nailed the 747 pretty nicely. Glad that you also added this QF release as well.

[PHOTOSHOOT] 2025 MachBirdz Qantas Boeing 747-438 VH-OJS with 5th pod.

Thank you Leo for your kind words. I am amazed on the number of models requiring modifications being produced this year (this QF, IIAF 747s, 762 Testbed,...). This is to me the new breeze in the scale.

[PHOTOSHOOT] 2025 MachBirdz Qantas Boeing 747-438 VH-OJS with 5th pod.

Part 2 features most shots against the rising sun. Let’s start with two photos with a air-to-ground perspective with the model card. From the port side during the golden sun-rays with the collector’s card front side. From the starboard side with the card’s back side. Closer to the starboard...

[PHOTOSHOOT] 2025 MachBirdz Qantas Boeing 747-438 VH-OJS with 5th pod.

BACKGROUND: In 2016, one of Qantas -438 powered by RR engines was grounded in Jo’burg due to an engine failure, in which a timely replacement was crucial not to disrupting the airline operation by rescheduling. Despite the rare occurrence of the event, this situation was well planned and timely...

This answer applies to me as well since I just enjoying adding in models.

I couldn’t agree more. By far NG has the best Tristar representation in the scale. Those early releases are hard to come by nowadays.

Instead of “Black Friday”, it is “Black Week” here where the program runs a week before Black Friday. First is a Mexicana B757-2Q8 N758MX by NG with the green tail. This 757 will join with its black-tail sistership in my collection. The real frame spent around 9 years with the airline and is...
