This was my first model! It was a gift from a family member I believe. I hated it at the time since I didn’t care about the oldies (I thought 727s were hideous and 737s looked a million times better) but it’s grown on me a lot. It’s gotten me to just near 200 models now after all this time!
im at 90%. All I have left are four A330s (some of those Aeroclassics releases are hard to get for a reasonable price), an A319, two 757s, and a saab 340. Ive already got the new 3DDD Dash 8 on order and im not even counting that yet till it arrives. Close close close!
good luck getting them under 100$. I've been searching high and low and theres been nothing for a L O N G time. Hopefully they remake those aircraft eventually! they'd sell quite well I bet (biased lol).
they really should have been more clear. X amount of votes gets you “approved”. should regularly go through and clear away random slop and multiple of the same thing, and also have a clear rough timeline for each model. there’s just too much “in the air” on everything.
A small box from Final Approach Collectibles landed on my doorstep just a couple days ago. I’ve been eyeing this dark liveried CRJ for a long time and I finally have it. Tail section doesn’t look perfect and it’s sitting a little wonky but for the price I paid this will probably be about as good...
To be honest, your upgrades on the GJ bridges look great. It may not be worth it to upgrade for you in the end. If anything, you could try messing with thin plastics to upgrade the Gemini further tbh. Might be your best bet!
Clippermodels just released an “assemble yourself” kit of 5 bridges for 12.99usd. Probably the best deal out there for the quality and I can confirm that Clippers jetways are indeed great (look at my KPIT diorama for general shape as I think he’s updated his just a bit since then (and mine are a...
I grabbed powders and other weathering stuff from a model train shop nearby my house. You could look online if you don't have one near you to find what you may need or want to experiment with. Lots of great model railroading videos to help explain the general process as well. A lot of the same...
I love seeing this airport. Always feels very “US deigned” in an odd way with lots of little odd shaped terminal building to cram as much as possible. Very cool design choices and helps it feel very realistic. Trying to understand your plans a bit better: Is the terminal shape changing or just...
Specially since you asked and I just got this thing!
Also on another note, photographing bare metal models is quite difficult to get the exposure right. Lots of very contrasting parts depending on the angle of the lense/light and all that in consideration. took me a minute to get all my...
Take every request with a grain of salt, underpromise and over deliver. I don’t mind waiting some years for a few of these aircraft as long as they’re good high quality models that will actually make you guys the money to keep making more. Some people tend to forget that even though the cost to...
