I'd always pick a model with a better mould that has plastic components, than an all-diecast mould that doesn't look like the real thing. It would only matter to me when there are two equally accurate options and only one heavily uses plastic -- very unlikely to happen the last time I checked.
A Gemini Delta 767-300ER, N173DZ. Fitting choice given my criteria (I look away for a while and my collection of the type has now grown out of control). One of Gemini's best works even to date and it definitely did its job which was to get me addicted to 400 scale.
Can't believe I missed out on this thread! I absolutely love seeing models of regs I've flown on, and I'm excited to share some that I was very lucky to get.
In order of acquisition:

N3734BDelta B737-8002020NG request. Part of a sentimental trip that was also...
Even as a Delta collector this feels lackluster. The MD88 was done very recently and they've released eight million A350s in the past couple years. Delta's getting way more attention than other airlines so perhaps I shouldn't be complaining, but surely it's not that hard to release a 757 or...
It's not, but it's outdated. Although my mistake as I now noticed it was advertised as the Compass version. Not sure as to why but hopefully we get an actual Envoy version soon.
A few 737-800s from my wishlist:
American Airlines N901NN (and N986NN, if possible down the road):
I know others have suggested regs for this aircraft too, but I flew on this reg as part of a special trip and it would be awesome if you could perhaps consider releasing multiple regs including...
Cockpit windows and winglets look significantly better than the previous sample. Hopefully the nose-down attitude is fixed as well although it's hard to tell from this background. Overall looking great.
Next round of new model recap:
[NG] United 757-300 N78866 - another requested reg from me; it got repainted to Evo Blue in the few years between my email and their release, and as such they released it in Evo.
[NG] Delta 767-300ER N174DN - this was NG's first attempt at the 767 so it has some...
Have NG been responsive to feedback in your end? NG stopped responding to my emails in recent months. I'd understand if they no longer have time to respond to individuals but I certainly hope they still look at your reviews at least. I just read through the review and these are important points...
Haven't posted here in a hot minute so I'll go over some of my (relatively) new acquisitions that I was able to take photos of. There are lots more that didn't quite make it to this post -- I will get those up as soon as I'm able to take some more photos.
All of these mean a lot to me and...
I've had no issues buying from Waffle as a retailer (shipping and all), but out of all the collection sale stuff I did get a few that were in pretty rough shape. Noticeable box and packaging damage, a fair amount of dust, and one even managed to come with both wings detached and an engine...
It's pretty ironic how a few years ago United was capable of producing some of the best special liveries among the legacy carriers (Her Art Here especially), not to mention the retro liveries like Friend Ship. And I thought Delta didn't seem to care about specials as much.
How the tables have...
