This was the first photo I took with my own hands of an airplane as a 6 year old onbored a Westjet 737-700 from yyc to yyz on oct 3 2012
I have older photos that my dad took but this is the first one I had done on my own
gose without saying my skills and camera quality have much improved in the past 10 years lol

The first photo I ever took of an aircraft was this DC-3 G-AMPY of Starways during a school visit to London Heathrow Airport in 1960, when I was 10 years old, using my mother's Kodak Brownie Box camera. Incredibly, this DC-3 is still flying and in May this year was sold to the USA.starways.jpg

I probably have loads from inside an aircraft from when I was younger but they are not easy to access as they are all in scrapbooks ETC I do have this from 2018 when I went spotting on my mom's phone. And for comparison, I have a photo I just took today below.

This is my first photo of an airplane that is not in a scrapbook. It is of a Virgin Australia 737-800 pulling into the gate in 2011~12, right before a flight to Perth from Melbourne. I have more in scrapbooks and believe that the first photo I have is of the second Wunala Dreaming, VH-OEJ, dating from ~2009. I will see if I can find the scrapbook.
