Thoughts on modifying old Dragon Wings models?

Recently I found some people on Chinese social media/selling websites have modified their old Dragon Wings model. These are some of those examples:
Qantas 747-300 w/5th engine pod
Delta B767-400
I think Dragon Wings's 747 is still a very nice mould, but the simple undercarriage and short HF antennas make some people including me hesitate to get them (unless they are very cheap)
Will adding aerials, extending the HF antennas and replacing better gears improve the models significantly and worth the effort?

Interesting.....

I did debate upgrading the gears on my Dragon 747-300, it's quite nice to see that someone has actually done it successfully, I need to know how they did it tho

The gears on DW wide bodies, and specially the 747s, don’t bother me too much. They are simple, but well proportioned. On some of their narrow bodies, they do look pretty bad (except 727 and MD-80).

Exactly! I'm totally fine with the gears on the 747. Some other models have worse gears...
