Hey, I just wanted to get your guys’ thoughts on the upcoming exchange mall as it’s the first one that I may participate. Are the prices good? IMG_0615.jpeg

This is the exchange for new release models and is different from the standard Exchange Run which happens 3 times a year for the last 2 years or so (in April, August and December). That amount of point is standard for a new-released 1:400 narrow-body.

Has anyone received their models from the last exchange in August yet?
Yes I received mine at the end of August. My dealer was a China store so.

I've never seen this - where is it on the site? How does it work?
 
I received mine from JetCollector very soon after the exchange. I emailed them in advance about it, which could be why I received them so promptly.
 
I believe you have to be on the mobile version of the site (m.ngmodels.com) even if you are on a computer for some reason

It is in the same place as the normal exchange malls, and just ended. As for how it works, I’m pretty sure it is the same as the normal exchange malls, with the only difference being the models

It's something they started last month
Before formally announcing the month's releases, they run an exchange for a limited number of select models from the batch

Last month, amongst others, the Shanghai Legoland and Icelandair Pan Am were on this exchange

Did you follow up with your retailer?
Bit of a delayed response to this, but I still haven’t received my August models, despite contacting the retailer and NG models. They say NG ship them out at their discretion (or rather when the next shipment is sent to their shop), yet they have received new releases since August…

Has anyone else on this forum had the same issue?
 
Hello! The November exchange mall was my first time using exchange mall and I selected Wildcat Diecast. Forgive me if I seem overly nervous because of this. Just a few days ago I received an email from Noah at Wildcat containing my invoice for the shipping for my exchange model. Is this regular to receive it this early? To my knowledge, based on my NG Models tracking information, it hasn't even been shipped to the retailer. Sorry if this is just me being overly nervous, thank you all!

The tracking status on NG's website has never been accurate. My first two exchange orders still say they've been shipped to the retailer, even though I've had them for months 😂
 
My retailer just informed me that the item I redeemed this time has arrived, and I should receive it sometime next week. By the way, NG’s official website still shows “comfirmed by retailer” so it’s probably better to keep an eye on notifications from retailers rather than rely on NG’s website.

I got my NG exchange models today, redeemed few weeks ago. I honestly didn’t expect it to be this quick. The two Tupolev models cost me 125 points in total, which I think is a great deal. 1000049165.jpgBoth are in great shape, except the Tu-214’s nose gear was a bit crooked. Luckily it was loose, so I could easily take it off and reinstall it. Overall, this was a really good first exchange experience.1000049166.jpg1000049167.jpg
