Moving is not fun with models…

Well, it took me a week on and off to
pack, and another week to unpack, but got it done. Just around 900 diecasts packed and moved to their new home.

Only damage - one write off…CP Attache 733, and two 727s lost some gear. Not bad considering!

Tried to organize boxes and crates to make loading and unloading as easy as possible. Long story short, avoid if you can!

I have a similar cabinet like your 5042.jpeg that was bought in 1999 to display 1/500, 400 and couple 200 from Ikea, except the top and base in wood finish. It only came with 3 glass shelves and I hired someone to add extra sheves with clear acrylic boards. It was a bad idea because the models did add a lot of extra weight causing the acrylic shelves to sag. Better go with glass next time.
