I could be wrong - it was just a rumour I heard so don't take it as gospel. However Gemini tend to sit on made models for a while (sometimes years) so the Hawaiians could be models made before any licence expired, or Hawaiian may not be impacted, or it might just not be true. Note also that JC Wings recently got permission to announce the HA Lilo & Stitch 717, which obviously isn't licensed.

They do it intentionally with future release photos. Obviously when the formal announcement comes out it won’t look like it was exported with a potato.
