Gemini Jets October 2024 Releases

Just another typical GJ release, I'm starting to be more relieved than frustrated when there's nothing interesting month after month. Of the ~75 new 1:400 models every month my budget only allows one or two anyway.
Exactly! I don‘ buy more then 1-2 each month as well.

Very predictable and boring. Only the Wideroe DH-8 is of interest to me.
Still waiting for some SATA DH-8's.....

Wideroe is a nice release. Only, always concerned though with GJs cockpit printing, and their landing gear mess-ups.

The recent ANA Q400s JC releases are fab - why can't GJ maintain the same quality? Oh, right, cutting corners, yes.

Btw Would GJ/JC have the shorter E2 mould in 1:400 yet ? IIRC Wideroe has the E2-190. Will make a nice pair

Another dull set by GJ.
But the Delta a330-300 is an interest.
They've only made it 4 times before and there's a much better NG version been made too!!

Here's my view. It is rare to be surprised by Gemini's releases and they continue to plod along rather oblivious to anything else going on in the scale, but no doubt pleasing some US centric buyers. Only 9 models this month and they are saved from complete mediocrity by some RJs.

I must say though after getting my Prime and Discover A333, it seems the wings have been slightly improved. They no longer look like they’re about to flap up and down, but the tail is still a tad low.

Yeah that was always a QC issue. I have several A330s on this mould, old and newer, and the wings have been ok. The landing gear is the biggets issue - it is just too short. Especially the maingear.
