A friend of mine who is an Emirates pilot has notified me that the 727-200 model recently announced is already available at the Emirates store in Dubai. Here are some photos he took with his mobile. This versions isn't fitted with aerials, but presumably the standard ones will be? The 727 looks like it turned out better than most of the recent 727s Gemini have made. Certainly the printing around the nose and cockpit is good. The mould still has the highly inaccurate maingear doors that are too high so give it something of a hot rod appearance, but overall this one looks rather nice. I may well acquire it myself.

In addition to the announced EK 727 there is also a 737-300 (GJUAE2232) available at the official Emirates store (though not on the website). This uses the usual old mould, which is serviceable but in my opinion at least much inferior to the Panda version. It's clear the usual tail-down stance of the old GJ/JC 737-300 is alive and well but the model still appears serviceable. Presumably this will be part of next month's GJ releases?
