Detailed Mould Comparison - Airbus A350

I do my best to keep the information at the website current but there's a lot of change in 400 scale so it is a challenge. This is the 3rd update to the A350-900 detailed mould scoring I've made and the first since 2020. Since then of course the NG Models mould has appeared and the AV400 version has had some changes also. In this comparison I pick 7 categories to compare the 4 active moulds. I'm sure you could find others but I doubt it'd change the overall story. None of the moulds are dreadful but there is still a fairly obvious hierarchy:

Sounds about right. Both the AV400 and NG are great, but imo NG edges it out thanks to its superior gear and correctly sized aerials.

Great review Richard. I have both NG and AV400 examples, and concur with your excellent analysis. For me the engines and their connection to the pylon and exhaust gives NG the edge. While AV400 keeps it close with amazing printed and moulded details. Love both
