Time to review this long awaited, classic stripes version
Good to see HX/YY re-releasing ones that Big Bird or others did and some sellers on eBay wanting for ridiculous prices. There's the Big Bird on eBay now for $200
Packaging:
Always appreciate brands like HX/YY for taking extra steps with packaging. Patriot/NG (Ultimate) also have good boxes but don't know why some of them tend to crease easily or with crushed corners
The box material:
★★★★★
But, I discovered something from this one and also seems to happen with any other HX or YY releases. It's the worst than any others I got from the past

The clear plastic clamshell, I guess some people call it “cradle”, has a very poor design. Once the lid is closed and snapped it keeps popping back up. Problem is the plastic clamshell can easily damage the box because there is not enough space. With the clamshell lid popping it’s going to make the box to expand. It also happens to some Phoenix or JC and the box dents or creases because of the clamshell. One box is slightly dented now because of that
I already taped each side of the lid to prevent popping but it still popped. Now I just separate the box from the clamshell and model. Very tedious
Bad clamshell
☆☆☆☆☆ (failed)
Quality/Details:

HX/YY are always very detailed, like the engine thrust reverse or gear doors. Paint quality is also good and doesn't seem like there are blemishes or dull paint spots, same as the metal polishing.

Color is hard to tell, because they used online photos. I'd take the official VR-HOP to compare the color.
★★★★☆
Here's a look of the nose compartment

Conclusion/value:
If someone has been waiting for the old livery -400F or missed the Big Bird version and don’t want to spend a lot of $$$ now to get one this YY release is definitely a good choice. Also, there’s no other brand that can offer 3 different configurations all together on a single release besides HX/YY. Some brands don’t even have the moulds for interactive or flaps. Overall, I’m satisfied with this one besides the bad clamshell. I hope they’ll revise the size of the box and redesign the clamshell for better fitment.
