ALL NG 'Future' 1:400 Release Announcements (Rednote / Instagram / website / etc)

Applying China Railway’s liveries onto planes is kind of a harmless joke in China, you can often find photoshopped images of A350s and B777s applied with CRH and CR liveries. People especially have an affinity for the green CR livery (nicknamed ‘trash can’ and ‘the Hulk’) used on the slower...

ALL NG 'Future' 1:400 Release Announcements (Rednote / Instagram / website / etc)

They’ve ‘soft announced’ several future releases on Rednote recently. Whenever they post a picture of a real life aircraft it usually means that they intend to announce them as future releases at a later date. In the past few days, NG posted pictures of Starlux’s Gold Airsorayama A35K, KLM’s...

    Patriot IIAF KC-747 5-8107

Imperial Japan never had any plans to invade Continental Europe, let alone the British Isles for that matter. They wanted to subjugate Asia-Pacific. Even if the Axis powers won the war Japan wouldn’t have controlled any of the European colonial powers themselves. It doesn’t work that way...

    Am I missing something?

Their progress with the A340s are getting ridiculous by this point. The A330’s fuselage and cross section is similar to the A340 in so many ways. Same goes with the wings, too. And the A320 engines-there’s a reason why the -200/300s are nicknamed 5APUs. You might think that it’s easy for NG to...

    Am I missing something?

As someone who owns this exact Landor release by GJ, as well as a dozen or so of HX’s 747s, I can attest that an upgrade to the HX mould is definitely worth it. I mean I’ll keep my GJ Landor for diorama fleet-building purposes but the HX mould is leagues ahead. The only problem for me is that...

What is the first 1:400 scale model aircraft you got?

It was 2012. A China Southern A380 by Dragon Wings. No registration, as it was released prior to CZ’s first A380 delivery in 2011. Bought it by mistake, as I previously had already collected two 1:200 models (a Lufthansa/Condor hybrid 737-200 by JC and a Dragon Air Cargo B747-200F by Hogan). I...

    Show Your Latest 1:400 Purchase

There’s only one small retailer on Taobao that’s selling it. None of the big ones carry the model. And I don’t think there’s any indication of it being in stock. Hence why I’m curious as to where else you could buy them.

Who will make this beauty ?

Yes they soft announced it on RedNote. Every time they post a real life image of an aircraft on there means they’ll make it in the future

Korean no longer listed on NG Database

Maybe NG can still discreetly make them? Rebrand it as Bob Models, the same way the did with some of their other models that are likelier to catch attention by airlines? Or just create another dummy brand like they did with Arabic Jets?

GeminiJets United A321 “Coastliner” Future Release

I think the bands seen here, as well as those on the SAF liveries, are part of United’s new visual identity introduced a few years ago. The colours on the bands are part of the airline’s secondary colour palette. They can also be found on some signage and promotional materials.

Model Review - YTO Express Boeing 767-300 by JC Wings

NG did the Comac ARJ21/C909 version in 1:200. No news on anyone doing a 1:400 release of it though

    Golden Age of Model Collecting!

Yes. We cannot definitively state that ‘era x’ is the golden age when compared with ‘era y’, as each decade has its ups and downs. Things are very much cyclical when it comes to time. Even when looking at the models being produced today, for all the progress we’ve made in pushing more accurate...

Pictures of the new ARD Models 1:400 Boeing 747 Range.

Incase if there’s any confusion, HX is based in Foshan, which is right next to Guangzhou. You can even take the metro from Foshan over to Guangzhou. It’s that close. They’re all part of the Greater Bay Area, which is highly interconnected. This includes Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Macau...
