The number of people grumbling in this thread, whilst somewhat understandable is bizarre to me. ARD likely has to pay a hefty premium on these releases to secure the brand rights, trademarks usage rights, etc. that go into producing these models in an above board manner. Obviously we’d all love...

I really don’t mind about the diversity of location, it’s just the time period. I’d be delighted with Cathay, just make it a 747-200 in the beautiful retro scheme.

Starting to think they've lost their 757 and L1011 moulds!

Just realised that Cathay Cargo is 747-400F not a -200F so unfortunately outside of my criteria! Here I was hoping for a true classic.

What an exciting pipeline they’ve got coming. If the BA Negus is the ‘British’ titles I’ll be grabbing multiple for my diorama. Not to mention that Cathay cargo will be a cracking addition.

Very excited for this il-76! Mould looks like an marked improvement to what is out there. Hopefully potential for many an addition to my 1986 European diorama. Aeroflot, Iraqi Airways, Libyan Arab Airlines, Syrian Air in their original schemes would be beautiful.

Yes, resin is certainly the way to go. Unfortunately in the UK I've had some quotes back at GBP20+ per print, which is rather steep for what will effectively be a trial run. My next step is to reach out to some vendors through alibaba as they may be more cost effective, albeit with a larger MOQ.

@LeoMuse747 - Unfortunately work has rather taken over the past few months, and going into Winter here in the UK means I've missed the window for any airbrushing outdoors as the temperatures are simply too cool, and the air too damp. I'll post an update shortly with progress on the decals across...

Emirates 727 will be joining the collection for the mid-80s display. Looking forward to seeing it, especially alongside JC's recently announced UAE 707.
