HX is SQ’s 1:400 branch. If you get an SQ most other 1:200s will look and feel like cheap toys; the landing gear, level of detail, and packaging are all a step above JC/GJ and IF/WB/JFox. But they do sometimes struggle with color shades.

I wish they’d just not slap the approved sticker on stuff they have zero intention to make. It’s the hope that kills…

Because when they get it right, nobody’s as good. We all want our favorite subjects in the best quality. That being said, shame on NG lol.

Lol, they always find a way to surprise you. What they should do with the 748 is re-release an ‘80s KAL that isn’t a hot mess. They’ve made plenty of good ACs and LHs.

Another useful rule is don’t buy just because it’s widely considered to be iconic. If it has no meaning to you it’s just a white elephant.

JC’s Singapore 777-200ER, 9V-SRN. Quality isn’t anything to write home about, but SQ’s classic 777s are among my favorites so there are no regrets.
