Don't think they did. They leased them between 1990 and 1995, before the rego changed from VR- to B- in 1997. Cathay also retired them before the rego changeover (I think).
Additionally Hong Kong registrations are B- followed by three letters only.
Slightly off topic, but there only been one (subpar) Aeroclassics release of the A330-200 in the current livery as well. The manufacturers just seem to like releasing A380s or B787s in the current livery!
