Could be an expensive month for me. Some possibilities:
A300B4 VH-TAA/C/D/E Qantas
A350-900 D-AIXL Lufthansa (100th Anniversary special livery)
B737-800 VH-VYK Qantas (Pride is in the Air special livery)
B747-8 D-ABYN Lufthansa (100th Anniversary special livery)
B777-300ER B-KQU Cathay Pacific...
I've purchased 77 models from him (mostly hard to find models from collection sales) over the last 15-20 years with no issues - all the models I've ordered have arrived in good condition.
Some general thoughts for you to consider:
How badly do you want these models? Will you regret it if you...
Pleased to see a VH in the list (although this is quickly getting expensive having to ship from Canada - would be nice if we could 'reserve' them to combine shipping when its halfway across the world!)
The model itself seems to be Eastern Australia / Qantaslink (either VH-TQG, TQS or TQX) which...
I wouldn't be surprised to see a EK A380 with a special livery - I think there are a few that haven't been done yet (believe it or not):
Emirates Airline Foundation (A6-EEP)
Emirates Courier Express (A6-EET)
Emirates Skywards 25th Anniversary (A6-EUE)
Tennis Grand Slam (A6-EUH)
Not sure if the E190 is ready for production, but there are a number of them currently flying in Australia that haven't been done yet. Just thought I'd list some of them if there's any interest in doing them!
Airnorth (standard livery) - would also love their E120 and E170 sister ships if also...
I generally agree with the idea that they should represent a real aircraft, and fantasy liveries that have no basis in reality, or are pure marketing gimmicks (e.g. the "Year of the Horse" by NG, or this one) just take up much needed production line space and there are so many desired models...
20 for me this year, my biggest collecting year since 2011. I picked up a number of older hard-to-find models including my holy grail of collecting that I've been chasing for nearly 20 years, so very pleased with this year's haul!
Unsurprisingly for someone living in Australia, it's very...
Not sure if they still do, but in the past MyHobbyHouse in Malaysia inspected models before shipping. I was once offered a replacement model from their catalog because one of the models I had ordered had a small scratch and it was their last one in stock. Obviously it doesn't help if the model...
Would there be any interest in BA world tails Q300s?
These were painted in world tail colours:
G-BRYI: Chelsea Rose (England)
G-BRYP: Grand Union (England)
G-BRYS: Waves of the City (USA)
G-BRYT: Colour Down the Side (England) - the only aircraft to wear this livery
G-BRYU: Benyhone Tartan...
In the same post I think they mentioned they would be releasing the 2007 standard livery - VH-OJS with both 4-engines and 5-engines, with both normal/flaps down versions.
They are also planning to release the the following special liveries (not sure if they are also doing flaps down versions of...
Don't think they did. They leased them between 1990 and 1995, before the rego changed from VR- to B- in 1997. Cathay also retired them before the rego changeover (I think).
Additionally Hong Kong registrations are B- followed by three letters only.
Slightly off topic, but there only been one (subpar) Aeroclassics release of the A330-200 in the current livery as well. The manufacturers just seem to like releasing A380s or B787s in the current livery!
Back on topic, there are numerous Australian Dash-8s that could be made. Any of the...
The VH- could be a Jetstar A320neo in the new colours (e.g. VH-A5A). Otherwise could be Qantaslink or Virgin Australia but both of those have been done previously.
