They said the same thing about the 747s almost 2 years ago. Don't get your hopes up too much.

Panda seems to be following the trend of new moulds in 2024, hopefully they release more as non-exclusive though. And also return the TU-134s!

A sample of the MD-80 was shown at the Amsterdam Fair last September, so it wouldn't be a surprise. I'm also not expecting them to work on even more new moulds for a while.

NG posted on Facebook that a pair of classic moulds is coming soon. Rear engines and most likely a narrowbody. Will this be the MD-80s? Or something completely new like 717s, 727s or Fokkers?

The difference in 400 scale should be about 5mm and I see the Max9 is a little longer than the -800, so there's nothing wrong in my eyes.

I'll definitely be picking up the Air Niugini (if I can get my hands on one), can't wait. Love all the new retro moulds we are getting lately.

2024 is already a great year in terms of new moulds. Now lets hope they will actually be used.

I consider buying it too, but I hate that you're forced to pay more for the skintag.

GJ has re-released plenty of models in the past few years, so that can't be it. Why did JC even start this agreement with GJ? It prevents them from making so many sought after models and I'm sure their production facilities are easily capable of running independently.

I think the problem is that NG keeps releasing: 1) the same livery with a different registration 2) a very minor change of their previous release 3) a special livery Plus most of their moulds are the best on the market, meaning people wait for them to make it, instead of paying the same price...

People should be able to upload pictures themselves based on a few criteria to ensure acceptable quality, you as admin just have to approve them. Otherwise it will be very difficult to get pictures of Dragonwings and other brands that no longer exist.
