    25th Anniversary: In May 2018, VLM Airlines celebrated the 25th anniversary of its first scheduled flight between Antwerp and London City Airport, which had taken place on May 15, 1993.

    Colour was difficult to match depending on which reference photo you use. May not be spot on but was the best I could manage. If you look at this profile and compare it with my original post you should be able to spot the error (now corrected).

    I rarely make custom models these days but this showed up on my radar and I couldn’t resist giving it a go. This airframe began life with Dan Air in June 1989 but became VLM in March 2007. As far as I’m aware that after 36 years it’s still in operation with National Jet Express in New Zealand.

    Totally agree about the “fat” engines. Shame that GJs could get it right. Hogan was better.
