It is official, and probably the 777 will be in mica finish, not polished metal -
The rendering itself it supposed to look like it was done in the 1950's hence the reason it looks like an oil painting.

This v.tail is way too close to the erroneous shape of the JC version sadly. Can't say I'm a big fan of that cockpit section either.
