I’m pretty sure that’s referring to how old the airframe wouldve been today.

To me that vertical stab looks excellent . I’ve compared that the real one and my 1:200 IF200 A320. The IF obviously looks too curved and off, but the legacy jets model looks excellent to me and not only that the whole mould looks amazing. Definitely getting this Model.

Yes that’s what I meant ! I agree with you for the most part, although I think if any model was to have chrome engines this should be the one. Atleast it looks good on the 1:200 version imo, but I’d imagine it wouldn’t be as subtle as this in 1:400.

I wish the engines on the Wunala were chrome electroplated like they did with the Pan Am. It would be especially fitting on this model with the RB211’s

I just came across this on legacy jets website…Some months back I bought they’re 747 and MD-11 which were superb models so this really peaks my interest!

Would there really be a big difference between using tap/bottled water and distilled water? For years I’ve used just bottled water and microfiber cloth and have never had an issue.

Forget about the used models this is one of the few retailers that sells SQ Wings and Legacy Jets in the US. I've purchased the Legacy EI-AI MD-11 and 747, and multiple SQ wings models as well. Everytime I've ordered the models they arrived at my doorstep in 2 days in some cases the next day...

I used to think handling models with bare hands could potentially damage the paint but after many years of collecting found that not to be true . So in terms of harming the model you aren’t at all. Of course I wash my hands before as some models (especially polished) will show fingerprints.

I always expect something to be a little off when purchasing a model online . Whether it’s crooked gears , crooked aerials, engines slightly off, paint issues, slight bent wings, I never expect and really don’t even think I have never received a “perfect model”. I wish it wasn’t this way but...

Thanks for this informative post! This Patriot and the HX 741 are at the top of my want list and I have a feeling they will be my favorite models in 1:400 out of all the models I have purchased over the past 20 years.

As long as the landing gear looks realistic and accurately sized , then rolling gear would be unnecessary to me. I’m quite sure that none of us play and roll around our model planes like hasbro toys .

My only guess is that the cockpit windows could be ever so slightly angled upward. Nonetheless they are some great looking models.
