The Pan Am and Airbus do not have the new landing gear from what I've seen.

Well, I guess that is coming home, this month has been stellar for me. Pan Am 747 in the classic cheatline scheme, the GJ Iran Air 747, and the AC THY F-28. Haven't had a month this good for me in a while

It does look good, I'll see towards picking one up eventually. I was waiting for a Turkish F-28 so I can have a F-28 in the collection. I will say the rest of the set is simple but definitely nice. The LTU F-28 also looks good but I can't justify having it in the collection.

Might just be something that adds cost to the model, and HX doesn't see a point of adding them unless someone is willing to pay for the modification

11 years yep. Those Pan Am's were wonderful so I have ok hopes for this model. It's no HX 747, but it should hold its own for now
